Kath Bertrand
Ceramics-a journey of discovery
Kath uses the ceramic form and surfaces to explore stories of landscape and wildflowers with gestural and abstract mark making, and shapes. She likes to scratch into the surface using under glazes, oxides, and ceramic pencil. Kath also likes to incorporate other themes with womens stories into her work. Kath's interest in clay narratives came from her study in ceramics at Tafe Brisbane.
